dreaming and creating
I have mentioned before that I am a real foodie and I looove cooking. For Easter’s sweet table I made churros.
When I made them, I thought it would be a real nice breakfast sweet and now I have found out that it really is more of a breakfast food.
I loved it because it is easy to make and finalement it’s sooo delicious!
In one bowl mix flour, vanilla sugar, cinnamon. In a pot boil water, put in butter, sugar, salt. Mix well and boil until the sugar dissolves. Then, pour flour mix into water, stir in with a wooden spoon. Stir until there are no lumps. Leave the dough to cool down. Then crack in the eggs, seperately. Mix until the dough is smooth and solid. Put the dough into piping bag with a star shaped nozzle. Boil the oil in the pot and squeeze out the wanted amount of dough into the boiling oil. Fry until the dough becomes golden brown. Drain the churros on the paper-lined tray. Sprinkle (or roll) some caster sugar on them.
IMPORTANT: I strongly suggest eating churros at the same day or if you want to eat them the next day – don’t put them in one place. They will lose their crispiness.
For the sauce: melt the chocolate and pour the heavy cream into. Mix well and you are done.
And this is soo good.
Let me know if you tried and how did you like this.
